Help setting up your Island, managing Pro, and keeping your companions close.

Contact Om Gawande (theSpider) at support@notchi.tech. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Notchi version, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot can help; hide private information before sending it. Never send passwords, email sign-in codes, or card details.

Start your Island

  1. Open a collection, choose a companion, and select Add to Left or Add to Right. Eyes use both sides as a pair.
  2. Open the Island tab and turn on Dynamic Island. Allow Live Activities in iPhone Settings if needed.
  3. Touch and hold the system Island to see the expanded companion view. Presentation and animation depend on iOS.

Notchi requires iOS 26 or later. Dynamic Island needs an iPhone with Dynamic Island hardware.

My Island stopped or looks still

iOS limits Live Activities to up to eight hours and controls when content redraws. Open Notchi to start a new session. The app includes Start Island session and Restart Island session actions for Apple Shortcuts; personal automations can request restarts during the day. They do not bypass system limits or guarantee continuous animation.

Weather or a Basic shows sample values

Gallery tiles show sample values until you choose and configure that Basic. Weather can use a searched city or approximate location. Health and Calendar Basics ask for their required access when selected. If you denied permission, review access in iPhone Settings or the Health app. Weather refreshes while Notchi is open; offline values may be stale or unavailable.

Pro purchase or restore help

Open Notchi Settings → purchase management → Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that paid and the same Notchi account for account-linked access. Allow a moment for purchase verification with an internet connection. Monthly, annual, and lifetime Pro unlock the available Pro content; a PRO badge on a preview does not mean you purchased it.

Use Manage subscriptions to change or cancel renewal. Apple handles billing and refund requests.

Change an app icon

In Notchi Settings, open Change App Icon. The purple Ultraviolet ghost is the free default. Other icon finishes require Pro. After choosing an icon, return to your Home Screen to see the change.

Account and privacy help

Use Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google when the provider is available. Keep using the same account to find your linked purchases. Pro is active on one device at a time; use Move Pro to this device in account settings to transfer it. A transfer can take up to five minutes. You can delete your account in the app; see account deletion. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for details.
